Hockey Buds Program disclaimer, terms and conditions

Welcome to the photo upload centre for the Hockey Buds Program and its related services. Please read the disclaimer, terms and conditions which govern material submitted by you to us prior to uploading your photos through the Hockey Buds website.

By clicking the ‘upload photo(s)’ button you are agreeing to this disclaimer, terms and conditions.

You MAY NOT upload any image which violates ANY copyright law, international or otherwise, nor may you upload an image or any  material deemed illegal by governing authorities.

By submitting a photo of my child for purpose of a digital hockey card and website profile card, I hereby grant GameOn Sports and the Hockey Buds Program the irrevocable right and permission to use such photograph(s) of my child on GameOn Sports and other websites and in publications, promotional flyers, educational materials, derivative works, or for any other similar purpose without compensation to me.

I understand and agree that such photograph(s) of my child may be placed on the Internet. I also understand and agree that my child may be identified by name and/or title in printed, Internet or broadcast information that might accompany the photograph(s). I waive the right to approve the final product. I agree that all such portraits, pictures, photographs and any reproductions thereof, and digital files are and shall remain the property of GameOn Sports.

I understand that this right includes the right to combine my picture with others and the right to alter any of these for the purposes described above.

In submitting your child’s photograph(s) through the Hockey Buds website you agree to grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish and use these pictures exclusively for the Hockey Buds program only, in print, online or any other promotional material associated with the Hockey Buds Program.

Also by uploading my child’s photograph(s), I acknowledge that the participant being photographed is under eighteen (18) years old, and that I as a parent/ guardian have read and I understand this document. I understand and agree that it is binding on me, my child (named above), our heirs, assigns and personal representatives.

I acknowledge that I am eighteen (18) years old or more and that I am the parent or guardian of the child named above.

By entering your email address you agree to receive email communications from GameOn Sports pertaining the photograph(s) that you have submitted.

When having your child pose for the purpose of a hockey card and profile card, please use both of the above poses.

Have your child wear their hockey buds T-Shirt, gloves and holding a stick. 

Make sure background is in contrast to what they are wearing with nothing on the wall behind them.

Pictures should be between 150 dpi to 300 dpi in size.

Only .jpg, jpeg and/or .png photos accepted. (we recommend sending .png photos to ensure better quality.

You may send more than one picture of your child to a maximum of 6 MB in total.

Pictures should also be clear and in focus.

We may request a new photograph for any pictures that do not meet our requirements.
