The Ball Hockey Lab is super excited to partner with Hockey Buds for the Summer Classic! Tournament of Champions!

 

Through this unique tournament, teams will receive one session of skill training from acclaimed Canadian U18 Ball Hockey Coach Mike Dyke [whom has just returned from winning Gold at the 2024 U18 World Ball Hockey Championships] and a minimum five (5) game tournament to declare the Summer Classic Tournament of Champion’s winner for 9U, 13U Male and 13U Female.

Teams [Minimum 6 Runners + 1 Goalie] – $330.00 plus Provincial Association [Insurance] fees.

 

Please Note: Provincial Insurance Fees are $15.00 per player and cover from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025.

 

Players [will be assigned to a team] – $55.00 plus Provincial Association [Insurance] fees.

 

Goalies pay only the Provincial Association [Insurance] fee.

9-Under Age Requirements: Born between August 16, 2015 to August 16, 2017.

 

13-Under Age Requirements: Born between August 16, 2011 to August 16, 2013.

  1. Skills Camp: Approx. a 45+ Minutes Skills Session on Friday hosted by National Junior Ball Hockey Coach Mike Dyke.
  2. Game Format: Four on Four [3 Runners + a Goalie] 
  3. Roster size: Minimum of 6 Runners + a Goalie or a Maximum of 9 Runners + a Goalie.
  4. Game Length: 3 Minute Warmup | 30-minute Game, consisting of two (2) 15-minute periods of running time, separated each by a one-minute break. 
  5. Games: Each team will play a minimum of 3 Round Robin Games on Saturday plus a Minimum of 2 Playoff Games on Sunday.
  6. Awards: Every player receives a Loot Bag consisting of a assortment of goodies such as a McDonald’s Meal Coupon, Books, snacks, water bottle [see sample below], collectors cap [see sample below]..etc…| Medals – Gold, Silver and Bronze will also be presented to eventual winners.  Yes, you can register as either however we encourage teams to register.

7 Players [1 goalie + 6 runners] is automatic by default.

Additional Players [up to 3 more] can be added, you most also select the additional fees options [both enrollment and Insurance] when adding additional players.
